Participation in the Avinya National-Level Competition for students in grades 8 to 12 involves developing and pitching an innovative idea aimed at addressing one or more of The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS).

By entering the competition, participants acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Originality: All submissions must be original and the work of the participants. Plagiarism or copying from other sources will result in disqualification.
  2. Use of Submissions: By submitting their ideas, participants grant the organisers permission to use, display, and promote their submissions for competition-related purposes.
  3. Judging Criteria: Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, feasibility, impact on the SDGs, and presentation quality. The judges' decisions are final and binding.
  4. Confidentiality: While efforts will be made to protect intellectual property, participants should avoid sharing sensitive or proprietary information.
  5. Eligibility: Only students currently in grades 8 to 12 are eligible. Proof of grade level and age may be required.
  6. Liability: The organisers are not responsible for any technical issues, loss of data, or other disruptions affecting submissions.
  7. Content Sensitivity: All submissions must respect animal and environmental sensitivity. Inappropriate language, images, or content will result in disqualification.

Submissions must also adhere to secular principles and avoid promoting any specific religious or political agenda.
